A one-day trip away from the major city is worth trying for your long stay in Phuket, the world-famous vibrant tourist island in Southern Thailand. Krabi, on the other hand, is a peaceful town nearby, only a 90-minute drive from Phuket.

This post recommends a tour program for your one-day trip to take a break from the busy modern atmosphere of Phuket. You can go and return to stay at your accommodation in Phuket by sunset time.

Itinerary

**9.00  Depart from the accommodation in Phuket.

**9.30 Stop on Sarasin Bridge, the 2-km bridge connects Phuket Island to Phang-Nga, the mainland. The views are nice and there is a car parking area at the middle part of the bridge for tourists.

**10.30 You may stop for photo taking with the background of James Bond Island

**11.30  Arrive at Ao Luek Ocean View, a restaurant with a panoramic sea view. The lunch with drinks costs about US$10 / 360 baht per person.

**13.00  Depart from the restaurant

**13.30  Arrive at Laem Sak Temple (Thai name : Wat Mahathat Laem Sak)

**15.30 Return to Phuket and you will reach the accommodation around 6 pm.

Another option, if you feel impressed and want to stay in Krabi, Anyavee Resort is highly recommended. It is a place on Tubkaek Beach where I've ever stayed, and I really enjoyed its seaside tranquility and great oceanic views.
